The Teachers’ Retirement System of the State of Illinois (“TRS” or the “System”) invites bids to obtain quality envelope printing services at a reasonable cost.  The objective of this invitation to bid is to obtain competitive bids from responsible bidders in sufficient detail to permit objective evaluation of all bids, which may result in a contract with the Teachers’ Retirement System.

Bid packets may be obtained from the TRS Springfield Office at 2815 W. Washington Street, Springfield, Illinois, or by calling Alice Kern at (217) 753-0354 or by e-mail request at akern@trs.illinois.gov.  Packets are also available by clicking this link.   Bids must be submitted in writing and delivered to the above address by hand delivery, certified mail, or overnight delivery between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  All bids must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. CST on May 20, 2008.  Responses received after this deadline will not be considered.  TRS will publicly open and announce the names of the bidders immediately after the above-specified deadline.  TRS reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularity in the process. All bid materials will be retained by the System.
