Do Not Respond to Fraudulent E-mails or Web sites
We have been alerted that some TRS members may be directed to a fraudulent Web site or receive a spam e-mail that appears to be representing TRS. The message notifies them of “grand prize” money or a change in the benefit formula. The site/sender asks for personal information from members.
TRS is not sponsoring any prizes and there has been no change in the benefit formula. We will never solicit your personal information via e-mail or through another Web site. We strongly warn you that these phishing tactics are not affiliated with TRS. The sender/con artist is trying to obtain personal, private information about you. Do not respond to these requests.
