Emerging Managers Program

The TRS Emerging Manager Program seeks developing investment managers who show promise to invest successfully on behalf of TRS. The Emerging Manager Program is open to investment managers across all current TRS asset classes.

The search process is specifically designed to offer smaller firms an opportunity to present their credentials directly to the retirement system by completing a Web-based questionnaire. TRS expects to identify a number of firms with strong management teams and relevant investment experience that have the potential to enhance our investment return. TRS will follow a thoughtful, structured program to gradually achieve a projected multi-year $500 million allocation to the emerging manager community. Women and minority-owned firms are encouraged to apply.

Before taking the time to complete a questionnaire, please keep in mind that the submitted strategy must be currently employed by TRS in the main portfolio.
